There are a lot of things being said in relation to the recent events. I am still very confused on how I am to feel about everything, but for now, here are some quotes I've seen come across FB that I could most agree with until I have more time to contemplate it all.

Frodo - "Now at any rate he is as bad as an Orc, and just an enemy. He deserves death."

When Obama finished his speech concerning Bin Laden's murder- I cried. It occurred with the recetation of the pledge of allegiance. "One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty, and Justice for All."
I understand that that goal was to gain 'Justice' and that we should all be happy that we killed the terrorist who took the lives of so many Americans.
I didn't shed a tear for Bin Laden, or his family and friends at their loss. I cried for us.
I have found the following passage from the bible to be something we, as a nation, should strive to adhere to if we claim to live Under God: Romans 12:9-21
The part that stands out to me is the following: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."
It goes on to say: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
What are we doing?
